Welcome to the Business faculty area. It is here where you can learn about what is happening in the Business department and proposed future developments. The Business department currently has a strong and diverse team of practitoners who all have their areas of speciality. As a Business and Enterprise college, one of our department's aims is to continually pursue real world contexts for our students to study, intertwining our schemes of work with local business scenarios. Such businesses include 'Business Dynamics', 'Nine Plus Ltd', 'Bodyglove', 'The Great Western Hotel', 'Morrisons', 'Proper Cornish' and local media companies.

Business is offered both at KS4 and KS5. At KS5 we offer a vast range of business related courses including Economics, Accountancy, Travel and Tourism and Business (single or double).  Diploma qualifications are now offered at KS4 in collaboration with Wadebridge and Tretherras schools. Our department is also in partnership with the University of Plymouth and we offer places at the Business Academy for Post 16 students who want to specialise in Business. The Business Academy allows students to access guaranteed HE courses at Plymouth University through an innovative business curriculum which addresses contemporary issues. The modes of delivery and assessment are diverse. They include role plays, case study analysis, presentations and video analysis delivered both at Treviglas and University of Plymouth campuses.
