Education Welfare Officer

Grade I (0.40 FTE). Term Time Only.

Treviglas Community College is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly-effective Education Welfare Officer. The EWO will work closely with our senior leaders, Attendance Officer and student support team on providing support for families and students from all key stages in addressing attendance matters.

This dynamic role will involve working with a number of external agencies and an ability to communicate clearly is therefore essential, along with excellent organisational, recording and reporting skills. The successful applicant will be required, where necessary, to assist the college in enforcing the relevant legislation to ensure positive outcomes for all students.

We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal records disclosure check. A full, clean driving licence is essential.
