Treviglas hosted a key stage one multiskills festival for three local primary schools Trevisker, St. Columb Minor and Indian Queens on Wednesday 3rd November.

The multiskiils festivals give the children the opportunity to take part in a festival away from their school where they learn different skills that are used a base for many sports.

The children are put into mixed school groups which gives them the opportunity to meet children from other areas of Newquay and the outlying communities. Some of the activities are new to the children taking part but some are old favourites as historic playground games that have been updated for this setting. The activities are run and led by Treviglas College Sports leaders, the sports leaders learn about leadership through these festivals and work in the local community which is the first step into coaching.
