Enterprise Morning at Treviglas
Article Created on Monday, 18 July 2011

Year 5 and 6 pupils from five partner primary schools – Summercourt, St Newlyn East, The Bishops’, Trevisker and St Wenn – recently attended an Enterprise morning at Treviglas. This gave pupils the opportunity to work with children from other schools, as well as with Treviglas students, focussing on the development of Enterprise skills.
Pupils completed a lego challenge to encourage teamwork, and then designed their ideal ‘classroom of the future’ in mixed-school groups. Teams presented their ideas to the rest of the class, encouraging good communication skills. Each group then voted to determine the winning group in each class. Treviglas staff were very impressed with the quality of the pupils’ ideas, and with their creativity. We look forward to future projects with our partner primary schools.
