Kilimanjaro Challenge

Two Treviglas parents are about to embark on a challenge of a lifetime in June 2010.
Heather Wells and Sue Trevarthen are training to climb Kilimanjaro to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care. Charity Challenges are a valuable income stream to the organisation. As well as raising the much needed funds to keep the hospices running, Mount Edgcumbe in St Austell and St Julia's in Hayle, participants also raise much community awareness which is a valuable commodity that they simply cannot buy. The annual costs for Cornwall Hospice Care presently are running in excess of 5 million and less that 20 percent of this figure is coming from government sources.
Heather and Sue really hope that people will support them in their bid to raise £10,000. They are asking for a small donation which can be given by means of a cheque made payable to Kilimanjaro Challenge and can be posted to Lloyds TSB Bank, 38 Fore Street, St Columb, TR9 6RG ensuring that it is clearly marked Kilimanjaro Challenge - Heather Wells. Alternatively, you could visit the website http://www.justgiving.com/suetrevarthen
Heather and Sue wish to express their gratitude and thanks for taking the time to assist in this venture of a lifetime.
