Students in Towan House joined in the national RNLI SOS day on Friday 29th January.
They were encouraged to dress in red and have a nautical theme in return for a £1 donation to the charity. There were many sailors and surf life savers who joined in the fun of the day. Each form ran a stall at break and lunch time with an SOS theme which ranged from 'sample our selection' of icecream to 'search the seas' for buried treasure. Staff joined in to by baking cakes and hosting a coffee morning in the staff room.
It was a great day and a totl of £919.35 was raised by the students. Very well done to all.
