As a specialist Business and Enterprise College, Treviglas is committed to introducing new and exciting teaching methods and to providing our students with the latest learning tools. In January 2007 we embarked on an exciting project to introduce a cutting edge VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) for our students and staff to use. We are using Moodle as our VLE as it is an open source package widely used by schools, colleges and universities. Our ICT department is pioneering the use of the VLE at Treviglas and all our students are using Moodle in their ICT lessons; our team of ICT teachers are creating new and exciting resources to further enhance learning. Using Moodle we are able to provide high quality learning materials for use by our students anytime, anywhere. This is an exciting development and we are proud of what we have achieved so far. However, we still have a lot of work to do if we want to provide the very best learning experience possible for all our students. Every student has a login for Moodle: why not sit down with your son/daughter and ask them to show you what they have done on Moodle so far?
