What will they learn?

At Treviglas College we offer a high-quality, inclusive physical education curriculum that inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. It provides opportunities for pupils to become physically literate, healthy and offers leadership at every key stage.  Students learn to become resilient, confident and great communicators.  PE at Treviglas offers activities that build character and respect for all.

How will they learn it?

Students will learn through acquiring knowledge on tactics and strategies to outwit opponents, they will develop their technique in a variety of games and activities.  Students also get the opportunity to develop further personal skills through outdoor and adventurous activities including surfing and climbing. Treviglas College is proud to enhance our students learning  experiences through strong community and club links acting as a pathway for further development. We also offer Btec sport at key stage 4 & 5, where students study a variety of units that offer GCSE and A level equivalent qualifications.

Where will it take them?

Students that study our sport courses and enjoy the physical education programme that we offer can access a wide range of career paths within the sport and leisure industry.  Many of our students that follow the courses extend their studies at post 16 and degree level.  Students have gone on to study degree level courses that lead into sports injury, massage, sports science, events management, teaching and lecturing.  Some of our students have been successful enough to make it as a professional within their chosen sport.
