ITT
There are many routes into teaching now and, at Treviglas, we are proud of the opportunities that our college can provide for ITT students.We host placements for students from the following providers:
Cornwall ScITT
University of Exeter
Marjon
University of the West of England
and have also placed students from:
Open University
SWITT
Over the last two years we have placed ITT trainees in Art, English, Maths, Science, ICT, Product Design, Business, RE, Geography, Music, Modern Foreign Languages and Sport.
In addition we provide opportunities for those who wish to observe the college in action to come for a short placement of up to one week.
We believe that the benefits to the college, to the staff and the students in terms of the new ideas and the focus on current pedagogy are invaluable. Many of our teaching staff are trained as mentors in order to support and guide trainees.
