On Sunday 16th July, Treviglas staff and their families took part in a charity walk on the South West Coastal Path. In humid conditions and on a route from St Agnes to Porth, which was far from flat, the team walked together to raise funds for The Wave Project. A great time was had by all, despite some gruelling hills, and they were greeted by Treviglas colleagues at the finish line.
So far, the walk has raised over £350 for this worthwhile cause, so close to our hearts because it uses the therapy of our oceans and waves to support young people’s mental and emotional health.
Mrs. Vanessa Maule, assistant head at the college, commented, “There is such a team spirit at the college, and today was indicative of it. Despite challenging conditions, we had a great day together, and are delighted to make a contribution to such a wonderful local organization.”
