Treviglas student leaders recently ran a food workshop for Year 6 students. This was a transition activity prior to the primary students joining the school in September. Treviglas food leaders Verity (Year 7), Ellie and Phoebe (Year 9) designed and led the workshop.
The dishes prepared included potato chips with a selection of dips, including home-made ketchup, and a vegan cottage pie. The Year 6 students enjoyed using the facilities in the Treviglas food department and learnt many new skills on the day. The morning finished with a tour of the school to enable the new students to become familiar with their secondary school.
We look forward to welcoming many of our new Year 7 students for summer school soon.
