On Wednesday 7th November, Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students joined the Springboard Cornwall Hospitality Takeover Day at the Headland Hotel in Newquay.
They were able to showcase their catering knowledge and learn new skills in mixology, food flavour combinations, spa massage and hotel management.
Congratulations to Max Badman, who won a Cream Tea for four at The Mullion Cove Hotel; he was recognised for demonstrating excellent business acumen.
All the students were a credit to Treviglas and put effort into all the activities.
Lily, one of the students on the trip commented, ‘I loved the cocktail class because it was really active.’
Ellie, another student, added, ‘It was great to see them promote local Cornish produce.’
