PSHE CURRICULUM INTENT
We offer a PSHE program that delivers a curriculum which is accessible to all and ensures that each of our pupils gain valuable knowledge, develop vital personal skills and understand how to flourish and play a positive and successful role within our society, both as a child and as an adult.
Our aim is to provide pupils with a solid foundation from which to navigate their way through life - locally, nationally and globally - and give them confidence to tackle many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up within a complex and ever-changing world.
Our students are guided into opportunities to learn about rights and responsibilities so that they come to appreciate what it means to be a member of a diverse society. Moreover, our pupils are encouraged to develop their sense of self-worth by playing a positive role in contributing to school life and the wider community. We challenge all our students to look for opportunities to show the school values of kindness, empathy and hard work while constantly striving to be the very best they can be.
